Vivian Maier
An American street photographer. The majority of her work being black and white photography.
What I like about this photograph is how it has been cropped square. It is an unusual way to crop but it works. I do like how it is homed in on the couple.
I feel like that patience is key for this. It sums up the speed of getting of the bus by how she is holding her stuff. What is also good is that she is not directly looking at the camera.
I like how dark the photograph is. It makes me think of silhouettes. It takes away the identity of each person. It makes them all an everyday traveller to work reading their paper.
